Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of the human body and gives the skin volume and elasticity. Aging-related influences such as too much sun, smoking and stress lead to skin aging, but also genetic factors as well as inflammation and injuries. Skin damaged by these factors suffers a loss of hyaluronic acid, which leads to the formation of wrinkles. The duration of effect of a hyaluron treatment is several months, but in individual cases it depends on the skin type and external factors such as smoking, sun and stress. Repeating the treatment is possible without any problems.
The wrinkle injection with hyaluronic acid is performed under local anesthesia and on an outpatient basis. After the treatment, some redness and swelling of the treated area may occur for one to two days. Refrain from sports, sauna and sun exposure for the first 24 hours after the hyaluron treatment.
